Default Ram Power 45 -Just got it.

I haven't power carved in the past but seen a demo by David Sabol in February and decided that there is a place for it in my carvings.

I bought the Ram Power 45 from Old Texas Woodcarvers. So far, just playing around I like it. I'm doing a horse and getting between the legs in the rear was a problem with my hand tools. The Ram took care of it in short order. Still have to go back over it with hand tools but separating the legs and getting rid of some extra wood was easy using power.

I'll be using it more often as the carving progresses. For me it isn't going to replace my hand tools but it sure has it's place on my workbench.

BTW, I have no connection to Old Texas or Ram. Simply had good service from both.
