Default Power Chisel

This is my first post but I've been reading a great many posts the past few weeks. I want to be able to quickly remove chips from the edges of alligator cedar slabs I've carved. Slabs range from 2 to 3" thick and from 16 to 30" tall x 50 to 80" long. The pic below shows what I'm talking about. I used a hand chisel and hammer with a grinder to round up the chiseling a little then take a torch to it. I've been looking at the Arbortech Power chisel and mini grinder. Will they make this chore easier and faster or is there something better? I'm talking large wood removal. I do not do "small" carving projects at all right now just larger cedar slabs. Any techniques or equipment suggestions will be most welcome.

Never mind. I just ordered the mini-carver instead of the chisel after seeing the video on youtube. Cowboy

I have both the mini grinder and the larger one from Arbortech and love them. I like to see chips fly quickly :-)) I used to do larger sculptures and they sure take the wood, for soft wood the regular blade is good ,I use a lot of hard wood and use the Tungston blade with the 2 teeth.Perfect ,I hopw I made myself clear?
