 Merlin vs Arbortech wood carvers Which one of these (Merlin or Arbortech) would be a good choice for carving out bowls? Or what other tools do some of the bowl carvers out there use that would help speed up the process of carving out bowls. Thank you  |

| Re: Merlin vs Arbortech wood carvers i own a merlin and love it. the chainsaw wheel cuts through hardwood like butter. you'll need a face mask though. the chips go flying everywhere and will hit you in face if your not wearing anything. |

| Re: Merlin vs Arbortech wood carvers I have had an Arbortech for about 7 years and I have used it a lot especially on hard wood, I am an impatiant person so wood ships have to fly, I like to see results and the Arbortech sure delivered. But I used mostly the Tungston Blade my Bosh grinder finally gave up on me and I got immediately an other on this is one tool I do not want to be without. Alice |
