No problems with the dummy pin, I turned the release collar on the hand piece and it slipped right out.

Used the woodburner for about 2 hrs last night... worked GREAT! but I can see that I would do well to get one of those insulated sleeves to put on the pen. My fingers got warm a few times.

I had bought some tools from them about a year ago, was not happy when tools arrived (catalog said they come razor sharp, well mine did not), any how left several messages and finally got a call back from Tims wife, she did make things right.

It is nice to see that they are making things right with people. That is a sign of running a good business. Things can and do happen to be a problem, it is how they take care of that problem that is what counts. Sounds like Tim and his crew are doing that.

I'm still out a handpiece for at least a week, so if that is good business to you, you are very patient. Still, he should have sent me one and let me return this one. It has been 10 days since I have had the unit in my posseion, typically when I buy something I want it to work right out of the box (don't you?)

I just received mines and no problems what so ever.

Wisardd1, I agree that it should work out the box, but once you mentioned that you put pliers to it I would of been worried to if I was them. And you bought it on ebay, that also would of made me hesitate. Bottom line is they helped you thru it all........

It was from an Authorized Dealer! That means it was drop shipped. I took pliers to hold onto the pin to get it out. I shouldn't have had to do that, twist the collar is what it says. Besides, it's not like I took a sawzall to the darned thing. Pliers don't ruin things if you know how to use them, but I get your point, some people don't know how to use them. What can I say. Bottom line is no, they have not helped me through it. They are gonna help me through it, in about 7-10 days.
