Default Gunstock WIP

I used a 400,000 rpm air Engraver to carve this 10-22 gunstock (my 1'st). Will post more as it progresses.

Never had the gutts to do it, but my hat is off to you. That is going to be one nice looking gun stock. Can't wait to see it progress even more.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm hoping to get through it without messing it up since this is my 1'st woodcarving of any kind. If I get good enough...Hope to do more gunstocks...but it takes a long time. I'm kinda making up the rules as I go along since I don't know any...lol.

Will post more pics as I finish it. I finished foreend and grips...have some scrolls to do on grip edges, deciding if I want to do anything on cheeks of stock or leave it and start another. Considering doing somescroll work on the metal also...but don't know yet.

Its looking good.My I ask what gun its from it looks like a rem 788 stock but it hard to tell as the whole stock is no visible.
