| | Foredom Series R ????'s I was given 2 Freedom R Series tools, I have both motor's flex shafts and 2 handpieces, and I upgraded one hand piece to a #44...both work great...my question is, does anyone know if this Series will run one of the reciprocating handpieces?.....seen them in the www.chippingaway.com catalog, don't specify the type, it uses the same keyway as the #44 handpiece, so I figure it would work, any idea's or comments?....tks....Dennis

| | Re: Foredom Series R ????'s Yes, it will run the recriprocating hand piece, but only in forward and on low speed. Best to use a dial control, rather than the foot one when using it.

| | Re: Foredom Series R ????'s thanks, I have a dial control on it now, the dial control was one I purchased from Harbor Frieight, and it seems to work fine, has been for a few years now...is there a cheaper place to purchase the handpiece, or is the pricing about the same vendor to vendor, if you know?....once again thanks...Dennis

| | Re: Foredom Series R ????'s Prices are pretty much standard. I went with Flexcut blades though, liked them better than the Foredom ones.
