Default Foredom power carver problem

I have a foredom power carver that has decided to only go in reverse. When I try to go forward it seems to be getting no power. What should I do?

Is there a phone number on the receipt from where you purchased the tool? If so, call them. Maybe they've got an answer. If not, then you'll probably have to send it back to the manufacturer.

Lindy,
the folks at Foredom are wonderful. I send back micromotors every now and then to get new bearings, brushes, and a tune up. They repair their products and will call you to tell you how much it is before doing the work. I'm getting ready to send one back right now as a matter of fact. If you have power in one direction but not the other...good chance it's a switch.
Here is their phone# 1-800-441-0625

Great people to deal with.

If you have an air compressor try blowing the dust out of the switch. That could possibly be all that is wrong with it.
