| | Re: Fordom 5240 Hi Alice, from Canader eh! Anything I've bought from them has got here OK so far, I don't know how it would be with bigger stuff. I don't think there's a problem any more what with this free trade and all, but that's only a guess on my part. Heck, watch the news these days when all the Canucks are rushing across the border every day to shop, now that our dollar is finally worth a dollar.

| | Re: Fordom 5240 Cliff, I checked them out and it looks that they do not have what I want, I always have been careful shopping by mail, I have bought a lot from Kitchener "Pop" Chipping Away. They used to come to the Ottawa Woodshow but I think they do better with their mailorder now.I use only Powertools ,my hands are bad with Arhritis, so I am happy I can still carve no matter what I use .
Thanks again Alice |

| | Re: Fordom 5240 I bought a new Foredom with reciprocating shaft at the HIckory carving show in October. I brought it home and used it two days and the switch became faulty and shocked the devil out of me. Needless to say, I took it back to Klingspor the very next day. Also, I buy a lot of things from Smokey Mountain and have always had good experiences with them. So, if you are looking for a supplier/vendor who will stand behind their products, you can count on Smokey Mountain. |
