Very nice work and a great idea! I like the idea of the colors also! You might want to spray it good when finished to keep it for years to come!

Thanks for all the comments. I'm currently working on the second rail and using the comments provided. Taking pictures as I go for future reference. Using the router is a little bit of a challenge, but it does remove the wood faster. been pretty warm here so getting it done will take a bit longer. Will post pictures soon.

Got it to work , second railing work in progress Used router, and dremel with various bits.

Hey thanks for the welcome......how ever, I've been a member of this forum for a bunch of years already.

" Dull Knife"......... I took this name from one of our native Americans. As I recall he was one tough cookie. I like to read about our native American brothers and sisters. They are interesting people.
