Default dust

I purchased a used motor on ebay to use as a foredom but it turns the hand piece clock wise and shoots all the waste out at me. does the foredom turn clockwise or counter clockwise?

Thanks

Maybe it's a left handed Foredom...
(sorry couldn't resist)

I have an older CC model that does turn and throw twords me, then I got a newer SR and it has a reverse to throw the wood away from me if I choose.

A lot of motors are reversible with a little wiring change. Do you have the model number of the motor you bought?

yea they throw the dust at you unless you have reverse, you need to wear a dust mask and safety googles.
