Default Does Anyone Carve Snakes On Twisted Sticks

Does anyone know of a good web page that has pictures or tips for carving snakes on walking sticks? There must not be many carvers who do this. I have carved 12 or so, but I enjoy seeing some else who does this also.

Any suggestions??

Hi Stixman...Gene Webb from Townsend Tennessee has a DVD that shows how to carve a snake in a twisted stick. Here is his website....http://genewebbcarvings.com/index.html

David Stehly does some amazing walking sticks and canes. We're doing an article with him in an upcoming issue.

We have a couple snake sticks (and lots of frogs, turtles and fish) from Dean Steffen, http://steffendecoys.ws/page1.html right here in Missouri. He's a great guy and a great carver.
