Default How do you store your bits when travelling

I have cases for my bits which came with my dremel but as mentioned many times on this board, I only use about 4 or 5 of the 150+ attachments. I am thinking about making a little carrying case for the ones I use. I thought at first I could just go buy one but haven't seen one for sale so now I plan to make one.
Just wondering what others have done? Right now I am thinking of using styrofoam in a little soap box I got for Christmas and sticking them in that or I wondered about taking a block of wood and drilling holes in it for the bits to sit in.

holly,
i have trouble with small dental bits burs and mandrels ive got from my dentist

i took a 1/2" stick of basswood and drilled holes in it so the burs would fit, as i remember it was 1/16th" hole, but the humidity has swollen the basswood and the burs have to be taken out with pliers but there not rolling around in the bottom of a box getting dull...
maybe something to think about is metal or plastic so your not effected by seasonal changes.

If my history proves to be yours, after you make something to take only the bits you need, You'll find that for this job, the one you really needed is at home.

Small metal tool box put piece of Styrofoam in it. Spaced holes in rows as I needed. Keeps them all where I can see them at a glance. Tool box about 12" L X 6" W X 6" H. Seems to work for what I have.

I'm totally mobile as I don't have a shop to work in. It's either a front porch, carving with a friend, or carving at the club workshop. I took this wood box that I bought at Hobby Lobby and cut and placed a 3/4" piece of pine sized to fit in the bottom of the box. Then I drilled holes to receive the bits. Everything I need is right at hand.

P.S.... The graphic on the box cover is not of my design. I forget where it came from but if it belongs to anyone I appreciate them letting me use it!
