Outside of the 2 videos on Youtube I can't find any books or videos on using a carver like the Arbortech power chisel. I can find lots of info on the Dremel rotory type, which I have and will also use. Can you give me any ideas? Harris |

I tried Arbortech but They really didn't give me any ideas except regular carving books. I guess I'll try those and adapt them to the power chisel.

I have an Arbortech power chisel. I love it, even though I haven't got to use it much yet. The 1st one I got kept shutting off on me, but i took it back to Woodcraft and they exchanged it for one that didn't do that. I use it the same way I do my little proxxon carver, only for bigger stuff. Just remember to oil it every 15 minutes or so of use.

Hey Harris, I had the same trouble when I bought mine. Especially after spending the $ I was a little upset to not find any support from arbortech. Trying the regular chisel books should work ok, just make sure to oil the chisel a lot, and watch out of the hole on the underside of the chisel, its real easy to find your finger near the edge, which would not be a lot of fun. Good luck with it! Tim |
