There is a note at the end of his description of the burrs to use them with water. Is that necessary for use on wood? or do you only use these on stone?

No water needed for wood!
And yes you can use them on wood.

Hi Sharon,

Any updates on the quality of the burs? Based on the vendors description they are high quality and he has 100% feedback which is usually a good sign.

Hi Gary,
so far I have only used them the one session or 2 and I really liked them.
My shop isn't done yet so I have to power carve outside and I haven't been able to do that because it rained for a few days. Looks like sunny weather for a few days, so hopefully I will get to try them again this weekend. Will let you know how they do.
