Wink Re: Bits for a duplicator- help?!

I USED to sell cutters for Duplicarvers. This is how I converted my T110 ? into an Indy Racer.Threw the origional table away and made one 18 inches deep. Then put supports on either side so you can fit an 18 inch square of plywood down. In the new table top , put the origional turn table holes, to center the router and stylus...Put inserts in plastic holders under table to keep them from moving around. Okay, hot melt your master to the 18 inch square of plywood, then position and hot melt the copy block in place..Start on the left side of the master, work around front, then the right side.Slide the plywood to the front and do the back , no turning and making scrap.. My stock Santa is an 11 inch Quilt Santa. Time from cutting out of stock to kicking out of machine is about 25 minutes, getting slow. Now, I used to throw the machine on a wood pile and copy while it flopped around/.. the 18 inch square base is so you can extend the stylus out past the support with an extension and copy anything that fits within an 18 inch square..You have a Duplicarver, Make a ball of clay, put your left hand on it in the master position..Have someone hot melt a copy block under the router (copy position)..Now copy it.WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND...Had a guy over, showed this to him and he's yelling that's impossible, but I'm seeing it. Why haven't you heard of my cutters? $125 for a cutter and stylus. Break a cutter bit,and they are $15 a pop.Times three or two.. Do i have customers? Yes.I could rattle names off, and with your eyes closed ,you would see the carvings. However, who my customers are,is my business. If you are in business to make money, the first thing you take out of your carvings is time. The duplicarver is a rough machine with router bits, second thing is to get rid of , fighting the machine.Who wants to be worn out by a machine?. And, before the question is asked, no i don't know how to make guitar bodies, but it could be interesting ,Cordially Nad PS, a standard copy machine with router equals one skilled carver's time, or should...............
