| | Any power carvers use a POWERCRAFTER?? Hello fellow carvers, I was wondering if anybody in here uses a POWERCRAFTER & if so, what do you think of it? I've been drooling over one of these for weeks now, but, I wanted to see if it got any feedback from anybody in here first. Any thoughts, please post them...I'm VERY curious to know if they're a good tool or not. Thank you in advance for any time anybody takes to answer this. gumbyteeth04 |

What type of tool is a "Powercrafter"? Is it a flexshaft tool like a Foredom? Or a micromotor? There are a lot of good brands out there but I am not familiar with this one.

| | Re: Any power carvers use a POWERCRAFTER?? Here is a web site on powercrafter. They have 400,000 and 500,000 rpm tools.
I Runs off of a compressor and with that, you would need the dryer and fliter to go in line to keep moisture from forming in the line and pen. http://www.powercrafter.biz/
I think they are a over priced for what you get. Looked in to these types of power carvers several years ago and decided not to purchase one.
Like anything else, some likes them and some don't. |

| | Re: Any power carvers use a POWERCRAFTER?? As Kenny said, some like 'em, some don't. I had one and didn't think much of it. In my opinion you would be much better off with a micromotor.

| | | Re: Any power carvers use a POWERCRAFTER?? I know I am new, so obviously my opinion has little worth on this board. He asked for some one who was using one, I was, I answered.
It appears my opinions are of little worth to this board so who ever is in charge here, please delete my account.
So long. |

| | Re: Any power carvers use a POWERCRAFTER?? WOW....I go away for a few days & what happened? I don't know who offended who, but I thought we were ALL adults here??? Thank you, for ALL who posted comments to my question....whether you're new to this site, like I am, or whether you've been carving all your life. I appreciate any iformation I can extract to make myself a better wood carver. Hopefully, it wasn't me that offended anybody by not responding right away. I don't have the chance to check this site every day, so, if that's what the problem was, please, take that into consideration. Thank you, again, for all who are willing to help & answer my posts! gumbyteeth04 | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
