Default WCI Thank You!

I want to thank Fox Chapel and everyone there for making this message board available to all of us. I, especially, want to say thanks for letting me post as I do while they carry the bandwidth problems, normal maintanence of the board and let us borrow our good BobD as our moderator.

Thank you!!!!!

Susan

I also want to thank WCI for having the most informative woodcarving forum on the internet. I appreciate you providing a great medium in which people with a common interest can share ideas and great friendship!

Great idea Susan, et all.......we take things for granted in our lives.

My thanks as well to BobD and the fine team at WCI, they have been a great encouragement in my life, as have all of the new friends that I have made in the message board. I am serious when I say, this has become my social circle, and I truly look forward to meeting with my friends online several times a day. I have had the pleasure to meet a couple in person, talked to some by phone and hope to get to meet many more eventually.

Bob

Thanks again from me too!! I've said it many times on here, this Message Board is and has been my carving club and my carving classes. If I'd only learned from here it would have been enough. The true bonus is the wonderful friendships I've made too! So once again, a big heartfelt thanks to Wood Carving Illustrated and everyone involved with the Magazine and this Message Board!! THANK YOU!! Deborah

A huge thankyou also from me. Great thread Susan, I agree we all take some things for granted and this message board for me is one. I know that it is always here and all of you are always here and that if I need advice it is always fingertips away. I for one lurked here before I ever posted for the longest time and now I join in without hesitation. Nice to take time out of our busy lifes and say thank you to BobD and all concerned for making this a comfortable place to come and visit.
Colin

Oh, I agree one hundred percent.. I found this board quite a few years ago and was lost without it for quite awhile, but thanks to Bob and Hi Ho , I am back again.. I don't live where there are carving clubs either and it's so wonderful to be able to ask a question when you need information. Everyone here is the best! I have made wondedrful friends from this board and I can say they are all truly sincere friends with a great big heart to help.. and ENCOURAGE! The magazine is also the very best . What more could I ask for? Thanks to everyone.. and Big Un loved it also... Charlotte

It's amazing to note how long we've been posting here. I just checked my "Join Date" and it was January 2002. Sure doesn't seem like 4 1/2 years. That's a lot of great discussions, ideas, suggestions and good old fellowship.

Thanks to WCI and especially Bob D for taking a step up when the board needed some changes. We've morphed from our shared picturetrail photo site to the WCI gallery, and from a few topics to many. We have a lot of members, and more "lurkers" coming forward to share their talent. Keep up the good work, everyone. Mike
