Is Shannon going to be the pirate or the new greenman....ummm greenperson? I liked the greenman, so I am looking forward to seeing the winning cover--and anxious, knowing the next issue isn't far away. Shannon, have members of my carving club been telling tales about my sharpening skills? We have a rule that new carvers in our club cannot pick on me (and my sharpening "expertise") until they've been a member for at least a year. Donna_T

I really like the greenman, but whatever the cover, I look forward to getting my copy.

Hey Shannon, Do you suppose we'll see that awesome greenman in a tutorial? That is the first one I've seen that inspires me to carve one. Thanx for a great magazine!

Greenman caught my eye, but I like the sharpening theme better! Dave |

I am a bit confused. Shannon you said something about going with sharpening on the cover? Does this mean the cover will be the one with Sharpening underlined and at the top? 'Cause the greenman also has sharpening mentioned on the cover.

I bet it would be hard to decide...would have a lot of feelings by contributors involved...tough job. Good idea going with tools on the front. BUT does it catch the eye? That Greenman Jumps OUT especially on the white background. You guys always make it look good!

This is the cover we ended up going with. The greenman is in this issue - a full step-by-step tutorial. The pirate is in the issue - a pattern profile (no in-process photos) Mails out to subscribers this week! |
