| | Re: WCI Fall 2008 (Issue 40) I usually have to wait a month on my issue...but it arrived yesterday! It is an outstanding issue. I really can't say why I think it is so great...there isn't a pattern I want to try, but it seems every article has something that I will try to incorporate in my carving.
Congratulations to the Wood Carvers of the Year! I know that Lori Irish's wood spirit tutorial on this site really inspired me to try new things.
Thanks for all the effort. You are greatly appreciated. |

| | Re: WCI Fall 2008 (Issue 40) Great issue, like always Bob D!! Lots of information and inspiration!! Congratulations to everyone at Woodcarving Illustrated for ten great years!!
A big congratulations to the Wood Carvers of the Year too, a well deserved honor, that's for sure!
I was personally thrilled to see Judy Snowbank's Fairy Keepsake Box, done from my article. She did a great job! In fact, at first glance, I wondered why the picture of mine was back in the magazine......Ben said the same thing when I showed it to him!
Judy, if you're reading this.....you did an excellent job! THANK YOU!!
Congratulations again everyone!! Deborah
