Old_Gord, Where do you see that title? Is it in the Window bar on your browser or somewhere else that I'm not seeing it? |

The description of the article is correct and it does take you to the correct article it's just the title that is wrong. ![]() ![]() OG Last edited by Old_Gord; 05-13-2009 at 12:50 PM. |

Got mine today (May 13) and have been cover to cover once. Nice mix of articles this time. Fred's tutorial on folds is much appreciated, as is the power carving comparisons> (I'm in the market). I will read everything more thoroughly when I've found Reynard!

I love the whirrly gig. I have ideas for a chef and a Minnesota Twins player. I think they could represent various occupations or hobbies.

I got my copy 2 days ago and for the most part love it! Loved the articles from and about our friends here on the board.I really enjoyed the article on Maori carving and think more stories on carving from different cultures should be a regular feature. I was glad to see the whirlygig article and also that it made the cover. Lots of people love folk art, so I think it's a great way to get people into carving, because it's not intiminating(sp).I haven't read the whole magazine yet but like it so far.

I think projects I may eventually do would be first the gargoyle cane, next the dragon and I really enjoyed the gallery that went with it. six months from now when reading back issue which I frequently do I may get interested in trying something else. I wasn't interested in the power section but that is because I know I could never afford it and I have a breathing problem so the dust is another consideration, I found all the articles of interest. Once I see series mention in any magazine I ignore it until the last issue is in my hand and then will perhaps get them out and read the whole thing. I have been reading your magazine for over ten years so your cover wouldn't make a big difference to me however if I were a newbie The articles mention on the cover would draw my attention more than the picture.

I would say an excellent issue it was very well balanced with projects, I enjoyed seeing articles by some of the board members. My issue arrived last week just as I was leaving for the cabin, I forgot it on the counter so I am going to read it thoroughly tonight. Thanks for the great magizine and keep it up, Carl

Some issues are valued for the patterns they contain.... some issues are saved for the technical or reference information.... and some are enjoyed just for the simple pleasure of reading each and every article. I've yet to receive a copy of Woodcarving Illustrated that didn't meet one of those criteria! Excellent issue! Keep up the great work!

I got a surprise in the mail yesterday. I was one of the winners of the fox hunt in the spring issue. I assumed that i hadn't won, because I've found him many times before and never won. I glanced at the picture on page 8 of where he was hidden and never even looked to see who had won. I guess I was too busy reading the mailbag and missed it. Thanks to WCI for a great magazine, God Bless, Lance Brooks aka groozier |

Hi, it is now the 27th and no magazine yet. Have all of you gotten your copy? I guess I will go to Barnes and Noble tomorrow and get mine. This subscription thing is just not working for me. BobT |
