| | Re: WCI #42 - Spring 2008 The new magazine hasn't shown up here yet. I still haven't found the fox in the last issue yet even though I followed Hi-Ho's advice and went to the eye doctor but he couldn't find it either. Looking forward to the new issue |

| | Re: WCI #42 - Spring 2008 Hi Ho,
I'm going to give you a hint where the fox is, pretty easy for me ( i did it alone no help from my better half. ) look on page 6, on right side botton, 4 1/2 inches up from bottom....in the middle of the circle.

| | Re: WCI #42 - Spring 2008 I love that First Cuts column. It was really neat to see Pete LeClairs first carving. My first carving was better than his; probably because I had all three of his books? I had quite the advantage over him. Now if I practice for 30 more years I may carve one as good as his latest one displayed. |

You're too old to be going on a fox hunt anyway! |

| | Re: WCI #42 - Spring 2008 I've received a few emails about the latest issue with some interesting feedback. A few folks have mentioned that we aren't covering enough caricature carving. Mixed reviews on the show coverage - some like it, some say leave it to the other magazines. Mixed coverage on the free-form box as well - Some liked the freedom of a carving project without a pattern, others thought it was too much woodworking.
This is your magazine and I really depend on feedback from the readers to keep it moving in the right direction. Don't expect changes overnight, but I am listening and it helps guide my acquisitions for future issues. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
