Default WCI #39 Summer 2007

Hello Members!

Well I've received two successful fox hunt entries - so that's my que to check in and see what you guys thought of the issue.

This is our first issue delivered through our new distributor, so I'll be curious to hear when it's reaching our friends to the North.

Did you guys see the alternate cover in the editor's letter? I just loved that mask - the cover reminded me of National Geographic.

Is everyone working on a Santa to enter in the contest? (See page 33)

What do you think of the "First Cuts" series? As always, I'm eager to hear any feedback - good or bad. You can comment here or send me a private message.

I've gotten it and have started reading it. THose masks were great. I also like the rest of what I've read so far. I'll probably finish it tonite. Still no sign of the fox though.

We always have a mini-fox hunt here in the office - and a staff member usually finds it within 24 hours. We've had our issues for about a week and nobody has claimed victory yet. I told them if they don't find it by Monday morning - I'm giving the $10 Borders gift certificate to Jon Deck for hiding the critter so well!

I think the fox hunts might get even more difficult than they already are!

Anyway, I just received my issue today in Georgia.

I just got it today.

I think I liked the alternate cover better. (not that I don't like the cover now!)

I need way more practice to think about the santa "contests".

As a carver just starting out...I think the "first cuts" was great I bet I spent a half an hour studying the "early" and "recent" carving. I really hope you keep those up with more carvers. it was very inspirational.

Received my copy yesterday. Great Magazine. Well, every issure are great. Haven't had much chance to read it all. The postman/woman must of since the plastic cover was opened. Actually, the little bride had opened it and started reading it. So the joke is, when I find the covering opened,I blame it on the postman/woman. So far, great articles. Jobe well done Shannon, BobD and your staff.
