| | WCI #37 - Holiday 2006 Well, did anyone get it yet?
I'm anxious to hear what you think of a few projects in particular:
Rolling Animal Caricatures - I can wait to hear/see success stories. I hope you guys think these are as cool as I do!
Folk-Art Tree Topper - I absolutely love this project and fought to have her featured on the cover - but the powers that be told me I had to have a Santa on there... This is one that has me wanting to carve my own!
Leg Lamp - Okay, being a woman this project is not really appealing to me, but I do understand that we have a largely male readership... So, I'm dying to know what you guys thought of this. Will you be making your own lamp?
Of course any and all comments are welcome and appreciated! |

Isn't the leg lamp based on some Christmas movie. Sorry I can't remember the name of the movie, but I didn't forget the leg lamp

| | Re: WCI #37 - Holiday 2006 Yes - the leg lamp is from "A Christmas Story" with Ralphie and the Red Ryder BB gun... So do you want to make your very own lamp?
Masker - you said you are looking forward to making some projects - I'd love to know which ones! |

| | Re: WCI #37 - Holiday 2006 Nope, Haven't got it yet here in the land of Oz and I probably will not carve the leg lamp. But I would take the Red Ryder BB gun. |

| | Re: WCI #37 - Holiday 2006 I'm not trying to be a tease or ruin it for anyone... We've been working on this issue since summer and had to send it off to the printer way back in mid-October... So it feels like forever until I get feedback. What is the appropriate time to wait to ask for feedback? Should I wait the alloted six weeks that customer service has to wait before they can send out a replacement issue.... AHHH the anticipation will kill me! |
