Thumbs up Re: New Product: Guinevere

A bit spendy but it looks nice, anyone own one? It looks like it would work to power sand on the lathe, like the idea of the round sanding heads. If anyone owns one post some info on it for me please like a reveiw good/bad points and what ya use it for.
Thanks for the thread Bob.

I just bought one and so far I seem to like it real well. I have only had it for about a week so I haven't had that much expierence with it yet. But for just fooling around with it, it is very impressive. I sanded around a relief carving of an indian I am doing and it took all the tool marks off from it that I wanted it to do. The only problem is that I can't get close enough to the facial features to remove all the marks that I wanted. What I need to do is order the small drum sander I believe it's 3/4x1 and I think this will take care of it. I will keep you posted as to how it works out for various carving projects. I haven't used it on in the round pieces but it looks like it will be ideal for that sort of thing. Also I am not a bowl turner but this would be absolutley perfect for that sort of thing. I know it's a bit pricey but what a nice tool. Jim
