My first attempt at a heavy lidded eye.Not what I was looking for , but funny looking. More Practice!!!!

WOW!!
This was an excellent idea Bob and gives a great opportunity to all who do not get to check all the posts regularly to see all the wonderful Santas at one spot.
They are amazing and it is interesting to see how everybody finds his/her own interpretation.

Well here is my first attempt (the one on the left ) at a Mark Gargac style ornament. Thank you Mark for sharing your knowledge of carving with us here on the WCI board! Your magazine article, tutorials here on the board and your dvd have been a true inspiration to a lot of people. My Father has just started carving and the ornament pictured here on the right is his second project.

Let us know what you think.
