Well here is my contribution to the photo gallery. This is the first time I have added any color so don`t judge the hard.It is earth pigments mixed with water then BLO and wax.

Mark, I really enjoyed the project and am eagerly awaiting the elf. That sounds really interesting.

Bob, I'm really glad to see this post. I was thinking of the same idea yesterday but didn't think to check out this area.

Here are a couple of my Santas. I thought that I would give them away for Christmas presents, but I just don't have the heart to give them up, so they hang happily from my tree.

...and yet one more!!! This one is being given to a charity auction to benefit troubled kids and a homeless shelter here in Rochester. Thanks again Mark!


UPDATE: We done good, the ornament brought in $165 for a very good cause!!

Here are the one`s I have completed Bob, I would like to thank Mark and WCI for such a great article. I have really enjoyed carving these and by doing so I feel I have become a better carver. Such as I was having some trouble with noses and some aspects of painting. Thanks again...Bruce P.S.I`m currently carving an Elf.
