Shannon, Two weeks ago at the Conewago show, you said that the issue was at the printer. We still haven't seen any sign of the issue. Is this a normal time frame? Just wondering. Thanks. Jody |

Hi, Jody. Shannon mentioned on Oct. 28th, in another thread, that it would start mailing to subscribers next week. Hopefully that means we'll see it any day now. |

It mailed to subscribers November 3. It should start arriving in mailboxes soon - but could take 4-6 weeks due to the United States |

shannon, thanks for the info regarding when the issue was mailed-- its always fun and sometimes amazing to see who gets them first-- but i caution all the readers that once it leaves your hands and gets into the postal system (read government run) you have absolutely no control over it. i sympathize with you for those who get upset for not recieveing them in a timely manner. but you have to wonder how it could take 4-6 weeks once its in the system. even the pony express delivered in 10 days across the country.

Supposed to be on newsstands Nov. 24. I'm not an expert... and perhaps we have a member of the post office who can chime in... but periodical mail (magazines) can be "held" at the delivering post office if the mail volume is high. If there is a lot of first class mail to deliver - the post office can just wait till a "lighter" day to deliver your magazine. |

I asked my mail delivery person last week why on Saturdays we get very little or no mail, her answer was you should feel lucky that you still get mail delivered on Saturdays ?? Dave |

i bet when we no longer recieve mail on saturdays ( not if) there wont be a cut in salary or benefits to the delivery persons. not that i have anything against any of them-- but if i work one less day-- my income is sure cut.
