I think people get a little too carried away with the "Vintage" and "Antique" Hullaballoo. I will definately keep my eye out at 2nd hand shops...I ran across this once and did not grab it...aint that how it goes? lol

for used and out of print books-- try abebooks.com i use them frequently and have had great success. its many booksellers listing books by title or author. i use it often with great success- sometimes the book im looking for maybe listed at a higher price than im willling to pay. i wait and sometimes it shows up cheaper--sometimes not.

Jeff Phares Book...
someone help me out here...i just bought the jeff phares book carving faces. it is a great book, so i am looking at purchasing some of his other ones. on amazon, his ear and hair carving book is offered for 299.00? someone ebay has it listed for buy it now for 325.00? are these books ultra rare, or maybe guilded with gold pages, or does jeff magically spring from the pages to carve the ears and hair on your latest project? (that might be worth 325...) what gives?
Wow! my autographed copy should pull in maybe, double that!

Jonah, I have two copies of this book. The autographed copy dos'nt leave the house. I can let you borrow my shop copy if you like for a 6- month period for you to study if you want. Just cover the postage to get it to you, and back to me. Now if you have the premier issue of WCI we could possibly make a trade?
