| | Re: Issue #36 - Fall 2006 OKay, I am finished "thoroughly" studying the issue. The only additional suggestion is aboutt he titles on the "Departments" sections. Maybe it's me and my anti-art thing, but I think the tiles at the top of the page for each section would be more prominent if they were the same color, and case as the way the tiles are in the index. The colors and the lower case just don't stand out enough to catch your eye and let you know ""hey, you looking at a different section now".
Or, the alternative would be to put a little fox facing to the left at the end of each article so the reader would know that the article has ended.
I like the Hobo article. I'll be putting that on my list of things to do when I'm bored when I retire. I wouldn't expect to see it done to soon though.
Thanks for a great job on the magazine everyone at WCI. |

| | Re: Issue #36 - Fall 2006 Dave usually gets his before me. Hahahahaha I beat him this time around.
Of course my favorite part was the "Anthony Hillman's Passion for carving Waterfowl" which shows a couple of birds in our collection.
And -- I like everything Anthony Constanza does - I have one of his Santas - so I like that witch a lot.
I like everything about the magazine ESPECIALLY the 3 holes so I don't have to use/buy the plastic holders to keep them in my binders (which I done with magazines for years and years).
I do have a complaint about the quality of the binding .... many of the pages are loose and coming out.
I'm a charter subscriber and will stay that way |

| | Re: Issue #36 - Fall 2006 I second Nancy's comment on the binding. I noticed that some of my pages are coming loose; but, thought it was just me and my habit of laying the magazine down with one portion folded under the other while going for coffee. Still, I have not noticed this happening with other issues. |

| | Re: Issue #36 - Fall 2006 Let me help you with that fox, Dave. It's on page ~<, in the photo in the *$3^* part of the page. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Anyone could see it by glancing at the page. Mike |

| | Re: Issue #36 - Fall 2006 I checked with our printer about the binding issues. The QC samples they took were tightly bound, and didn't pull out...so...
If your magazine is falling apart, please drop me a line so we can file a formal complaint with the printer if need be! duncan@foxchapelpublishing.com
