Default International Woodcarvers Congress

Anybody heading out to the show at the end of the month? We've just finalized plans to host a Woodcarvers Cookout. We're partnering with Carving Magazine and will provide hamburgers and hot dogs - you guys are expected to provide the entertainment!

Since the show is being held at the convention center, it became cost prohibitive to host the ice cream social (and for Carving Magazine to host their cocktail party). Larry Yudis and his team were so kind as to secure a pavilion at a local park for us - but we weren't sure we could convince folks to drive the 2 miles down the road just for ice cream - so we joined forces and are going to actually feed you guys!

Hope to see you there! (Friday night, June 26 - details available at the show!)

Shannon, I hope to be stopping by but will be unable to stick around for the cookout. I'll be sure to say hello though, of course I'll have to bring along my nametag!

Shannon, thanks for WCI and Carving Magazine putting on a "feed" for us at Congress. My wife Frances and I plan on being there and I am already licking my chops for a hamburger and hot dog sandwich. Don

Hi Shannon. It was nice to visit with you and your family at Lancaster and Sue and I look forward to seeing you again at Bettendorf. It sounds as though you have a nice evening planned for us.

Personally I had a blast at the cookout! If you were there - please let me know what you thought! I have to download my pics and I'll post them then.

Shannon,
The weather was perfect at the cookout. The food was great and the camaraderie was absolutely wonderful. Thanks a million!
