Default Chainsaw carving article

Hey editors,
I was wondering if you were going to do any articles on chainsaw carving. I only remember the one you did on Colin and his spirit faces. There are many very talented chainsaw carvers out there that I think should get some recognition in your magazine. I was very impressed with Brian Ruth, who was doing the demos at the last open house. His work was as good or better than many people can do with hand tools and all he used was a variety of chainsaws. Maybe an article on the Ridgeway event would be interesting also. How about it? One aditional item, I was wondering how the spell check works? I purposely spelled a word wrong and hit the spell check button at the bottom of this page and nothing happens?

Default Re: Chainsaw carving article

I'll answer the easy one first <GRIN>
The spell checker is acting up. We're working on it.

As for Chainsaw Carving, we've covered the Ridgway event in the past. We're planning on covering some more chainsaw carvers in the future (including Brian).

BTW...Brian's wife, Jen, was at the open house, but Brian had a prior commitment. Ben Risney did the carving at our open house.

Bob
