The Fox Chapel Book, "Carving Eyes" by Jeff Phares has elevated my game game by eons! Carving eyes is one of most inviting and intriguing aspects of many different carving venues. For all of you who have any trepidation reagrding this issue, I strongly recommend this book. It has application in my chess set work, has got me into Wood spirit work and beyond. It was truly an epiphany for me. Easy to understand, and well illustrated, in plain "English", start to finish a real gem! Jim |
