That is an awesome tutorial on carving an extreme pumpkin that Lora has put together. I will definitely want to try it! One question though...does the moisture from the pumpkin have any detrimental affect on the carving tools as far as rusting for example?

I've carved pumpkins with my carving tools before. Just clean them off well when you're done carving (I scrub with an abrasive pad) and strop them. You can also rub a small amount of oil onto the tools if you like. I use mineral oil (which is also what I use on my oil stones for sharpening).
