Helpful video, thanks for doing this, it helps to visualize your techniques.

Now, as to items that gave me pause -
You should keep the saw tables clean, the dust can cause havoc with measurements and alignment.
On the stop for the stopped side cuts I would prefer a clamped block on the rip fence, not hanging off the end of the BS table. I have had clamps vibrate loose when hung off the table.
You should try to avoid reaching over your work arm to shut off the saw. Iy may have been better to reposition the rip fence.

Hope some of this helps. Comes from years of learning on power tools from some of the best teachers.

I liked your bottle stopper article. I may try one or two of these.
