Default 36 patterns

im disappointed to find that woodcarving illustrated has reprinted the old pattern book (with duck on front). the new issue is the same 36 patterns with a reiief carving on the front cover. it seems deceptive to me. i know some are buying it and have never seen it before-- for those of us who purchased the first one and then may have purchased the second one, its maddening. the issue locally is encased in a plastic cover and you cannot see the patterns until you have purchased the magazine

surely the publisher could have found a new group of patterns to publish.

Default Duplicate Issue of the Pattern Collection

Please know that it was not our intention to deceive anyone. I did raise the flag when we first talked about re-issuing the collectiton with a different cover, but our newsstand consultant assured us it was common practice and that the casual newsstand buyer would not buy a duplicate issue.

If you end up with two issues of the same pattern collection, please give our customer service team a call... 800-457-9112 (press 3 for book sales - that will get you to our wonderful girls on the front line) and they'll discuss the options with you.

On a side note.... We're working on a new special issue - due to be released in late September/early October.
