Thumbs up Re: Video spoon tutorial

Sorry, no pictures. Have old laptop, daughter's reject. For camera, I'm still in 35MM era.
Large spoon very like your's in video. Smaller spoon, more what I'd call Norwegian style with a little extra curve to handle - perhaps handle is a little long too. However, I'm only claiming acceptable and plan to continue to practice.

I just recieved the hook knife I ordered today also and I'm really liking it a lot!I am carving a really deep coffee scoop and it is working great. I sold some more carvings so after trying this knife I ordered the Kolrosing DVD and the kolrosing knife. I am really fascinated with that technique. Next time I sell some stuff I am getting the right handed hook knife. I am so impressed with them and sometimes I like to "push" my knife so I think the right handed one will also be great for me.

I knew you all would love the knives same as me Del does really amazing work, I talked with his wife the other day and she said he was swamped with orders.

Woodaft other peoples opinions on your own work don't really matter, it's what you think of it that does. It does help to get opinions so you know how to improve or widen your skills, or if you sand and miss a spot or leave some heavy scratches it's always good to have extra eyes watching.

Bumping this up. Spring is just around the corner and I am already scrounging tree trimmings (for spoons) from people pruning their fruit trees.
