Default Santa Ornament (carving eyes)

3 of 7 ,Pix. #1) Continuing on from the last pix. in thread 2 and cutting the outer ridge off the outside corner of the socket. Pix.#2 ) taking a #7/6mm gouge and removing some wood from under the eye mound, this area sholud be pushed back so it's even with the eye mound and not protruding pass it. pix.#3) taking the cut all the way around and to the outside corner of the mound, keep this area surrouding the mound nice and round and try not to flatten it out. Pix.#4) Finishing the cut at the outside corner of the mound. Pix.#5) Pencil pointing to the results of the previous cut, notice the area that has been created to establish the eye mound, latter the eye will be carved and bag to fill this space.
