Default Renegade Woodcarvers Roundup

Is anyone attending the

RENEGADE WOODCARVERS ROUNDUP
A CARICATURE CARVING EXPERIENCE
March 21 - 25, 2011

Steve Brown Woodcarving

Fetauring Steve Brown, Tom Wolfe, Mark Akers, Gary Falin and Wayne Shinlever

Or has anyone done this in the past? I'm thinking about doing it but don't know much about the area.

I'm attending but have not been to the Lebanon Roundup before. I have carved with Steve several times and he is great to work with. Also carved with tom Wolfe several times. He is also a great carver.
Have not studied under Gary or Wayne, but I am looking forward to meeting Mark, he has been very helpful to questions I've ask over the Internet.

Lebanon, TN. is 20 miles east of Nashville. There are plenty of restaurants, antique shops, outlet mall and of coarse Nashville. The motel that all the carvers stay is very nice with microwaves, refridge and continental breakfast for only $32.00 per night(woodcarvers rate). You carve each day with a new instructor then more carving in the evenings if you so choose. There is a whittling contest, carving a sphere contest, flip a chip contest and blanket trade also during the evenings. If you are a camper there is camping within 200 feet of the seminar building. There is Fiddlers Grove Village just in front of the seminar building. The village has a very nice blacksmith shop. The local blacksmith club has a few of the members in the shop on Tues. evenings. Come experience the Renegade Woodcarvers Roundup. You can download a brochure and application at Steve Brown Woodcarving or call 270 821 8774 or 270 871 4239

It differs with each instructor. I'll have over 40 different projects to choose from. Gary will have approx. 25. It will be from 10-40 projects from most of the instructors. Steve B.

Fun? It's going to be like going to Disney Land for woodcarvers! I get light headed just thinking about it

I just posted a question in the "Off Topic" group of the forum relating my car drive there. Please read it to see if you can help. - thanks!
