Hi Muad! I know that Fox Chapel has several outlets outside the US but don't know exactly who they are. I will give them a call this morning and see if I can get someone to post here where you can get their books. It is my understanding that Fox Chapel has been working quite hard this last year to make their publications more available world wide ![]() Susan |

Hi Muad, Susan called me this morning to see if I could help you out. I am the accounts manager here at Fox Chapel and unfortunately at the present time we do not have any retailers in Argentina. Actually, we do not have any retailers in South America. Below is my suggestion for ordering our books. You can order directly from us at www.foxchapelpublishing.com Our site is secure and we accept VISA, MasterCard or Discover. Our customer service department will work with you to find the best possible shipping method. You can also click on the contact our customer service department link on our website and ask for a price quote including books along with shipping quotes. You can then mail a money order in US funds as payment. With that said-Muad, if you know of any stores that you think should be carrying our books, please feel free to email me the store name and address and I will be happy to contact them about our books. Best regards, Cindy PS For everyone, if you are searching for a retailer near you, please feel free to email our customer service department at customerservice@foxchapelpublishing with your location and they will be happy to help you find one. |

Hey Mark! Thank you. I think I will keep low for a few days. I think I blew out my bandwidth around here ... ![]() Muad, Here in the States we have county libraries. Our country is broken down into states then each state is further divided into counties. Each county of a state has a public library. Do you have such a thing in Argentina? Plus our libraries are connected so that one library can borrow a book from another library. If you do you may be able to take the list from WCI's book area to your library and see if they can find a copy for you. Our local colleges and universities also have libraries. We can not borrow a book unless we are attending that university but we can go into those libraries and read ... Maybe there is something like this for you. Susan |

Most cities and smal towns have libararies also. Anyway, in these parts. The littler cities or towns as we call them have access to the larger libraries in their states. I kow of 15 libraries with in 40 miles of each other and most of them are within 15 to 20 miles of each other. I live is a town of 2500 people and have a nice library that has access to our bigger libraries throughout the state. The Internet also is a good source of references.

I want to thank Wood Carving Illustrated Magazine, Issue 36, for the very nice write up about our tutorial here on the message board. That was a kindness above and beyond all the fun I have working with everyone on creating this Oakman! And, I do want to invite anyone who has stopped by to read this posting to join in the fun here on the WCI Message Board. This board is the greatest group of carvers and wood burners that you will find on the net. We share freely and offer lots of encouragement. So please do return to the main page at http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/ and sign up as a member!!! Susan |
