Gene,Ive seen your videos on You Tube and they are just excellent and not only people in the USA but other countries, you have showed people how they too can carve. You are a great asset to the carving world with your carvings and sharing and teaching others where they too can carve!! Im so proud of you plus it was my honor to see your carvings first hand in person. What a REAL carver you are. Forrest

Gene, I have watched many of your you tube videos. The hobo, bear and wood wizard. You have a nice style and really do teach us that this is the way to start, simple and confident that you can finish a project. I am amazed at how easy you carve with little effort, just small cuts and all of a sudden there is the proper shape. A great inspiration to me so that I can begin to learn more. Keep up the teaching videos. The patterns are also very helpful.

Thank you very much for those nice words. I have been building since 1972. I used to carve when I was in Boy Scouts (1950's) and got back in recently with a class from Roz Daisy. Another adventure with my hands since my main work is all brain stuff (computers). Looking forward to more of your videos.
