| | Re: Nose tutorial Well Blake, today , Kleenex has a realistic approach on my nose.
Jeff Phares,Nose and mouth
Frank C. russell Carving realistic Faces with power.
The latter does give insight to how the nose id laid out so one can use it while knife carving.
But my suggestion is Jeff's or even Mark Gargac's tutorial. Both of those are excellent.
Forgot to add that Jeff Phares's Nose and Mouth shows how to carve both the Native American and Caucasian nose. Then maybe follow up with his Carving eyes, which shows different shapes of eyes like wrinkled, dropy, baggy, etc.

| | Re: Nose tutorial At least I am pickin' and grinnin'!! I seriously doubt that their is gold up there....maybe coal, but that would be about it. I found a woodspirit tutorial on noses by Enlow that is pretty good. I am going to keep looking!!

| | Re: Nose tutorial Mornin' Bob - wanted to thank you for posting the three websites, I'm an 'old' woodcarver who started whittling a couple of years ago. The tutorial by Harold Enlow is particularly helpful and I've bookmarked it for future reference. Thanks again, John | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
