good question lynn,

maybe it can be obtained from lowes from their whitewood classification, its like 2x1x8 furring strips at lowes classified as whitewood...

this cats in south america so theres no telling, i goggled botanical sites but no hits on "greek+boxwood" and ask.com hits on boxwood but not greek, maybe its a locality name for plain old boxwood hedge... outside america trust territories, maybe he buys his grapes from grease??

never the less this feller has some talent you can see his Steve Tomashek's Miniature Menagerie at
http://home.earthlink.net/~stomashek/

his front page is a measuring cup full of these miniatures as little as 1/2" follow the
Menagerie link

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.

i liked them as well, i think they would be as good full size...

i dont have the paintence to hold something that delicate and sand it by hand, thats what man invented dremels and harnor hreight knock off fordoms for ...

but it would be a good challange to put some body up to doing

HEY!

Yep,
all them little guys were done nicely, joy did you see the main page the Menagerie its got some really nice paint jobs,

its just too bad i cant paint like that,
that little of a item requires toothpicks and needles to paint with.. and good stiff paint.
