Mark Gargac Woodspirit CD Tutorial

Hi, I got my CD in the mail yesterday. I should never have opened it after work. I was up well past midnight looking (absorbing) it.

I just want to tell you folks, this is a class act. There were over 500 very high quality pictures. Mark explains this stuff well enough that I think anyone could do it. It covers the carving from a block of wood, right thru the finishing. I think it was worth way more than the $20 I spent.

Mark.....What a wonderful CD, received mine today, really enjoy the size of the pic's shows the details nice. Like Bob in the above message, well worth the small investment, looking forward to having it "loaded & on" in my laptop sitting on my carving bench, especially when I need that quick refresher like when I'm doing my eyes!

This is going to be a great tool that I will be referencing many times over, thanks again.

Yep, got mine a couple days ago and been looking for this thread so I could comment along with you all.
I have to tell ya Mark, it's almost as good as being in your class. Images are clear and close-up, instruction is understandable. There is a lot value for the buck in this CD and I recommend it highly! Thanks Mark.....

I don`t know anything about this CD. where does one get info about it. It sounds like I have to get one to keep up with everbody.

I just figured ouy how to find his e-mail and I sent one off to him.this computer stuff is new to me so please bare with while I find out how to get around.

I like to echo everyone else's comments. I have not attempted the full carving as yet but I've definitely pulled some ideas from the CD such as the new approach to the finish, and the eyes of one of my latest postings (guy with the pipe) was influenced by Mark's CD. Highly recommend carvers new and old to purchase it - very reasonable price.
