Gene Messer's Carving Videos

I've learned a lot from watching Gene's carving videos and following along. The problem I have is that YouTube's search facility isn't all that great. Finding a particular project or a video within that project is very difficult.

So I thought I'd put my programming skill to use. I wrote a little program that asks YouTube for all of Gene's videos, and then outputs a page that has a quick index of projects and groups the videos by project. Finding a particular video series is now just a matter of a few clicks.

I was just thinking the other night...."there has to be a way........" But I am not a programer guy.

This is mint...... You should do one for Arlene's and Mac's vids too.......not to sound pushy or greedy or ungrateful for what you have already done. It is truly a great thing.

I was on your carving part of your blog the other night having fun looking at your carvings and reading your entries.. Very cool.

Happy to help out. I've wanted to do this for quite some time and the other night I finally got frustrated enough with YouTube to actually sit down and do it.

I'll see if I can put together an index of Arlene's videos sometime in the next week.

I'm not familiar with Mac's videos. Can somebody point me at his page?
