I have been searching youtube for all of Gene Messer's videos and can't seem to locate all of them. Is there a way to locate all of the episodes in some kind of order and download them? They seem to come up in a hodge-podge order and I am not sure how many different videos Gene has made. I sure would appreciate finding and downloading all of them for future reference. Thanks, Ray |

It's all right on YouTube. 1. Start up any of Gene's videos. 2. About midway on the right side of the screen is a little triangle and the text "More From: whittler0507". click on this, and a pull down shows up that shows four or five of the videos. 3. Click in the little scroll bar with these four videos and scroll down to the bottom. 4. Click on "See all 197 videos" 5. A page shows up that has the latest videos; in the lower right corner of this is "1 2 3 4 5 Next". Click on Next. Keep clicking until the last page shows up. These are Gene's oldest videos. 6. Enjoy! Well Cliff, I think I posted what I do before but here goes again.Smile I use Firefox 3.0.3 as my browser, along with a plugin called Downloadhelper. When on Youtube I run the video and click on the Downloadhelper icon which offers to download the video . Once I have started the download I start another video and follow the same procedure to download it , I can or have downloaded 5-6 Youtube videos one after another while I'm off doing other things on the computer, the Downloaderhelper program tells me when all files are downloaded. The downloaded files are saved n my hard drive or I could save them directly to a USB, they are saved as FLV files, I could pay to have a another option to Downloadhelper that would convert and save the files in whatever graphic format I want, but I'm too cheap and use only Freeware where possible. I use another Freeware program to view "all" my video graphics, it's called GOM, it will run any graphic format that I ever need. So all the programs I use to do this are Freeware from Firefox , Downloadhelper and Gom. Saving the downloaded files from Youtube to a USB is exactly the same as saving them to your hard disk. Now if you don't want to view the FLV format files with GOM, there are other freeware convertors that will convert FLV to almost any other graphic format you want. Since I only view Gene's videos on my computer I don't bother converting the FLV files to another format to view them on the TV. BTW I have copied all my downloads over on to USB sticks. Hope this is of some help. Cheers OG |

I use MS Internet Explorer and this web site. KeepVid: Download and save any video from Youtube, Dailymotion, Metacafe, iFilm and more! 1. Open the youtube video 2. Pause the youtube video 3. Copy the URL (http:\\......) 4. Paste it into keepvid 5. Follow instructions. Just remember to save it in a file version that you can open. If you can't open after download, try again with a different file extension. Joggernot Edit: PS: How's the hip?

Hi Cliff; Yep all is well so far, just getting older.Wink Too bad you don't use FireFox, but I was going to suggest you look on YouTube for a video showing how to download the videos with whatever browser you do use, but I see someone has already described how to do it with MS Explorer. Cheers OG |
