You didn't say what kind of "egg" carving tutorial you wanted so here's a egg chip carving web site with a bit of a tutorial, neat egg carving holder too.
http://www.carversedge.com/projects.htm#top
BTW there are a few books out there on "egg" carving, Mary Finn has a couple, Skylar Johson has one on caricature egg carving and Laura Putnam Dunkle has a number of books on egg carving for birds , animals etc. all books are good tutorials , again depends on what you want to carve out of basswood eggs.

Thanks to you all! I just thought it might be nice to have some egg references to refer to in case anyone wanted to carve egg ornaments for Christmas. I hear they are "egg-citing" to carve! hahaha Good one HI HO!

Blake, I carved a Santa Ornamenty from basswood hen size egg. Liken they all said, there are a host of egg carving books out there. However, Come up with your own design. You are good enough to carve one.
