Or you can open up your Temporary Internet Files and copy it to another file. It's in FLV format. Then all you need is an FLV player which is freeware program.

He also had a FTP site that you could download the files from, don't know if he still has the site or provides the service still, haven't noticed any posts from him lately. Generally I don't bother to convert the YouTube files I download, they are in the flv format and they work well on my computer using GOW, which is a freebie viewer. Drop me a PM if you are interested and I can explain what I do to download, convert and burn to a DVD YouTube videos using all freebie stuff. ![]() OG |

Terry, I'm not sure how to go about it, but there's a link to just about anything video: VideoHelp.com - Forum, Guides, Tools and hardware lists I've been told that if you can't find the answer there, it can't be done. |

With just a little searching it is easy to be overwhelmed by all the different methods to download and convert YouTube files. I've used a lot of different ways to do it but for now I'm using a free program called "Video Download Helper". First you must be using the Firefox browser. Video Download Helper comes as an add-on. This add-on puts a handy drop down icon on every YouTube web page so just two clicks will download and convert the video to my preferred format.
