OK...made some mistakes, but learned alot, guess thats what its all about....so here is a pic of my finished saddle...........

HiHo-thats a mighty fine saddle.what mistakes? for a city slicker like me that doesn't know the difference from a swell-gillet -cantel it looks great.especially the chip carving.

Dave ,
Nice job. I like high back cantels. The older saddles had high backs, the crossing between the english ridding saddle and the western saddle caused the lower back on saddles. But the higher back gives a much firmer seat and you can still see this on many saddles deep seats are great especially on a working saddle.
