| | Re: Carving Faces Yesterday afternoon, my 13 year old son and I spent an hour or so each carving a face practice stick from Jack Price's "Carving Small Characteres". I'd done a few in the past and he wanted to know how to do it. It's nice to spend one on one time with one of the kids. Not only did he learn something new, I figured out why my faces weren't coming out the way I wanted lately.
He's not a dedicated carver but he likes to see the carvings I've made so I do what I can to encourage him. If he decides to stick with it, who knows where he'll be in 20 years!
