Did you just hijack this thread? I have a 2005 Yamaha 1100 Silverado with 36,000 miles and I haven't ridden for three month because of the hip replacement. Give me another month and its back to LD riding!

Hey JOGGERNOT, when ya have the hip replacement, I had mine 5 weeks ago, getting around fairly good on the old cane but can't get in the damn bed, aches like hell when I lay down. Been sleepin in the lazy boy all this time 2 or 3 hours at a time. How about you?

I had mine done January 14th, so I'm into the third month. Well, you're doing better than I am because mine has dislocated three times. dang! I, too, am sleeping in the lazy boy, but can go all night. I gave up the cane last week, and promptly dislocated it. I'm back on the cane. Don't ever bring your knee across your body. That's what did it for me. We'll see how much damage I've done to it at the next doctor's visit. Do you exercises, but don't overdo it like I did. You're doing just fine!

Menehune, it is the Ron Wells small 1 1/8 detail knife. It's a very thin bladed knife, walnut handled rough finished for maximum grip but I 220 sanded mine and oiled it, just like it better but cuts like a dream. I love it and ordered a second. See link below:
